Bruins Fans Furious at David Pastrnak for Embarrassing Effort
David Pastrnak has been one of the top offensive players in the NHL for a number of years now, but you wouldn't know it based on this one attempt.
Pastrnak has an embarrassing shootout attempt
With the Bruins locked in a shootout with the Colorado Avalanche and desperately needing a goal, fans were excited to see what would happen when the star forward stepped up.
Unfortunately, what they got was a casual leadup to a nothing shot, rightfully categorized on social media as one of the worst shootout attempts in NHL history.
A fantastic season rolls on for the Bruins top star
Understandably, fans were upset with the effort on this shot, but overall, Pastrnak remains their biggest star and continues to produce after posting a career high 113 points a season ago.
In 2023-24, he's notched 24 goals and 56 points in hist 39 games, and while this one won't be something that goes on his career highlight reel, if the team continues to win, it will be on the back of him driving the offensive play.
