In breaking news, the Minnesota Wild have parted ways with one of their long-time executives after he made severe claims against GM Bill Guerin.
Wild Agree to Part Ways With Heydt After Accusations Against Guerin
It was announced today by the Athletic's Michael Russo that the Minnesota Wild will be parting ways with Director of Team Operations Andrew Heydt. Heydt served 10 years with the Wild organization, before he recently made accusations of verbal abuse against the Wild's GM Bill Guerin.
After 10 years with the #mnwild, director of team operations Andrew Heydt and the Wild have mutually agreed to part ways, I'm told. Heydt had accused Bill Guerin of verbal abuse. The Wild investigated via third-party law firm but declined to publicly disclose the findings
The accusations sparked an investigation into Guerin by a third-party law firm, however, the results of the investigation have not been disclosed to the public.
Geurin remains in his position as the Wild's GM and President.
