The projected first overall pick for the upcoming 2024 draft, Macklin Celebrini, was just ejected for boarding in the World Juniors pre-tournament.

The IIHF is strict on these kinds of hits and the Canadian star will likely miss a game or two for this hit.

Celebrini is the unanimous first-ranked prospect for the upcoming draft and currently plays with Boston University where he has 25 points in 15 games, a scoring rate that is incredibly impressive for a 17-year-old in the NCAA.

He will look to help bring the gold home to Canada and will put a lot of hockey fans on notice during the upcoming tournament.
