Patrick Kane's Ideal Next Chapter Would Come With the Dallas Stars
The 2007 first overall pick, three-time Stanley Cup champion, and future hall-of-famer has split his career between the Chicago Blackhawks and the New York Rangers, and will join the third team of his career this week.
With frontrunners appearing to be Detroit, Buffalo, Boston, and Florida, renowned insider Elliotte Friedman has now revealed where he truly wants to end up - Dallas.
The Dallas Stars are poised for contention soon, with one of the best forward groups in the league. Unfortunately, their forwards are so good that there just isn't room for Kane anymore. If they were to sign him, he'd be a middle-six winger at best.
If they could pull it off it would be incredible, and it would shoot them into the surefire contender category, but it doesn't seem realistic.
