Flames GM Reveals When Nikita Zadorov Will be Traded

Rumors surrounding the Flames' defenseman Nikita Zadorov have been everywhere since the player asked to be traded out of Calgary a few weeks ago.

Craig Conroy, the Flames' GM, spoke out about a possible deal involving Zadorov.

Conroy talked about the situation with Zadorov in a recent interview.

Zadorov asked to be traded. But it's not because a player wants to be traded that it'll get done.

Conroy's comments highlight the mutual respect between the GM and the player, suggesting that Zadorov will get what he wants.

He'll likely wait until later in the season, when it's confirmed that the Flames are out of the playoffs.

Right now, they still have a chance to turn things around. If they want to do so, they have better chances with Zadorov in the lineup.
