No one ever likes to see players get injured, but that is the sad reality of high level contact sports, including hockey.

Kings Defense Prospect Stretchered Off The Ice

We all know hockey is a fast and dangerous sport and tonight we got a reminder of that as Ontario Reign defenseman Tobias Bjornfot had to be stretchered off the ice after a scary collision.

Bjornfot was drafted 22nd overall by the Kings in 2019. Since then he's played 119 NHL games included one this season. He has a goal and 14 assists so far in his young NHL career. This season he's played just three games as he's split time bouncing between the NHL and AHL. We hope the injury was not as bad as it appeared and he will make a full recovery quickly.
