Patrick Roy's Return to Coaching Appears Imminent
Every day seems to bring us closer and closer to Patrick Roy's Glorious Return to the NHL.
Patrick Roy Spotted in Ottawa
On tonight's RDS broadcast of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens, Norman Flynn admitted he's not really an insider, but he had some information on the Ottawa Senators on very good authority.
"Things clearly aren't going well in Ottawa. What I can tell you, and I don't have any insider information otherwise, is that Patrick Roy was seen at a restaurant in Kanata."
Flynn's co-host responded that Roy is allowed to go to a restaurant, which Flynn agreed with.
Of course, but going to Ottawa at a time like this it's a little odd."

Flynn is correct. Maybe it is a coincidence, but it seems like an awfully big one given what's going on with the Ottawa Senators right now and the fact that he's already been linked to their head coaching position. If Ottawa doesn't improve quickly, D.J. Smith is out the door, and Roy seems like a perfect coach to whip the team into shape.
