BREAKING: Edmonton Oilers Place Forward On Waivers

The Edmonton Oilers have struggled mightily to begin their season. Today they made their first major roster move to try and change up the squad.

Today Elliotte Friedman announced that the Edmonton Oilers have placed Adam Erne on waivers.

The 28-year-old forward is in his first season with the Oilers. In 6 games played, he did not tally a point. Every team in the NHL will now have an opportunity to claim Erne before this time tomorrow.

If Erne goes unclaimed he will likely be off to Bakersfield to play with Edmonton's AHL affiliate the Bakersfield Condors.
