BREAKING: Connor McDavid Sidelined With Injury

The Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets played a thrilling 3-2 game that was finished in overtime as Mark Scheifele won the game for the Jets.

It was an intense game as there were chances and hard hits on each side. It was fantastic viewing.

Connor McDavid appeared to be in pain in the third period after a collision with Jets star defenseman Josh Morrissey. It was somewhat similar to his collision with teammate Evander Kane in the previous game.

McDavid went back to the dressing room then came back to the bench, and never left. He tested his leg/hip out a couple time but obviously never felt right.

He never played in overtime and had to watch the Jets come back from 2-0 down to win the game.

Head coach Jay Woodcroft gave an update after the game to the media members in attendance.

Connor McDavid finished the game playing 20:48, with two assists, two hits, one shot, and he finished plus one.
