BREAKING: Young 18th Overall Draft Pick Hits Waivers

The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed a young former first-round pick on waivers available for any team to pick up.

It was just announced that the Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Liam Foudy on waivers.

Foudy (CLB) on waivers

Foudy was the 18th overall pick in the 2018 draft but has yet to impress at the NHL level. Foudy played in 62 games last season and scored 7 goals and 14 points along the way.

Foudy has incredible speed but has not been able to get the rest of his tools up to par with that. If a team believes he can develop his shot or passing, Foudy could wound up being selected on waivers.
