BREAKING: Another Top-Three Pick Fined by The League

Gary Bettman and the NHL will fine another top-three pick for breaking a new rule.

TOnight is 2023 2nd overall pick Leo Carlsson's first NHL game, which means he got to do a rookie lap.

Carlsson went out onto the ice for his lap without his helmet which is a violation of NHL rules and results in a $2,500 fine from the league.

On top of Carlsson going out without a helmet, teammate Tristan Luneau also did so meaning that the NHL will be getting $5,000 out of the Ducks' rookies.

It is likely that veteran Ducks players or the team themselves will be covering the fine for these rookies as it is quite minuscule and gives them some fun for their very first NHL game.
