Jets Star Comments on the Rapid Decline of His Team

Yesterday, we reported that there was an unusually low level of attendance at the Winnipeg Jets' game against Pierre-Luc Dubois and his new team, the Kings.

After these reports went viral, Kyle Connor, one of the Jets' top players, reacted to the story.

This year marks Kyle Connor's seventh season in Winnipeg. He affirmed that he saw almost no empty seats in the first five years, ranking Winnipeg among the most passionate fanbases.

But things took a drastic turn this year.

There were more than 2,000 empty seats for the home opener, and even more during Tuesday's game against Los Angeles.

The organization doesn't seem to think there's something wrong with their team, and they hope that things will turn around.
