Former NHLer Brandon Prust is known for pretty much saying whatever comes to his mind on social media, no matter how it might be received or ridiculous it might sound. Since hanging up the skates in 2018, it's become his thing. His most recent, though ended up turning off many of his followers and left many questioning whether he may have lingering issues related to concussions suffered during his NHL career.

It all began when Prust retweeted a tweet that included a clip featuring U.S. President-elect Joe Biden mispronouncing the word "Psalmist." For anyone not aware, the P is silent, which Biden either didn't know or forgot somewhere along the lines.

That Tweet doesn't seem particularly scathing, but it snowballed from there. Making a clear political statement on Twitter will get pushback from followers and it appears Prust decided to respond to each and every one of them, hundreds in total, getting more and more into the weeds with each response he gave.

It goes on from there, with Prust lashing out at a minor hockey coach, and several others.

At the end of the night, it was noted that Prust had lost hundreds of followers, something he seemed perfectly fine with in fairness, and many questioned whether his years of dropping the gloves had had a lasting impact on his cognisance.
