Bruins Reportedly in Trade Talks for Current NHL Captain

This current NHL captain is rumoured to be on the trade block, and recent reports have the Boston Bruins as a top contender to acquire him.

the San Jose Sharks are in a complete rebuild mode, after failing to perform last season. This offseason, they decided to move their most valuable asset, Erik Karlsson, in a move that confirmed their intent to accelerate a rebuild. Now, it appears they are open to moving their captain Logan Couture in a similar move.

Reports have arisen that a few teams have emerged as the leaders in terms of acquiring Couture, including the Boston Bruins.

Couture is currently out with an injury and has just faced a setback during his rehabilitation that has pushed the already uncertain timeline back further. He has yet to play a game this season with the Sharks, however, was seen this morning on the ice.

Couture would certainly provide some important leadership and experience for any team looking to make a Stanley Cup push this season.
