BREAKING: 10-Year NHL Veteran Goalie Hits Waivers

Today's list of waivers is short, with just one player. However, that one player has a very recognizable name.

10-Year Veteran

Veteran goaltender Keith Kinkaid, 34, has been placed on waivers by the New Jersey Devils. If he is not claimed by anyone before tomorrow's deadline, he'll be assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.

Second Time

This is actually Kinkaid's second stint with the Devils. He spent several seasons there from 2014 to 2019, and played the bulk of the team's games in 2017-18 and 2018-19 before going to the Montreal Canadiens. Kinkaid has also played for the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, and Colorado Avalanche.

While the Wolves aren't the Devils AHL affiliate, Kinkaid had signed a contract with the team before signing with New Jersey. Therefore, should be be assigned to the AHL, the Wolves have his rights.
