The Winnipeg Jets have just announced they have signed Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele to matching 7-year extensions.

Hellebuyck is one of the best goaltenders in the NHL and will now be getting paid like it.

Scheifele is a bona fide 1st line center who scored 42 goals in a relative down year last year.

There were many trade rumors over the past few months but now that these two are locked up, the rumors will come to an end.
