After over 1000 games on Long Island, Bailey signed a professional tryout in Ottawa this off-season. His hope to stay in the league, has unfortunately been crushed, however, as he has lost his PTO.
The consensus is clear - the 34-year-old just can't keep up with NHL pace anymore.
It's unfortunate to see Bailey lose his shot, but for such a long-time player, this is most likely not the last we'll see of him.
