After over 1,000 games in the NHL, Steve Staois has taken up a role in the front office of several teams, but now, the Senators have officially locked him in.
According to a recent press release, Staois, who played with the Canucks, Flames and Oilers throughout his career before taking up a position in Edmonton's front office, and now, he will become the new President of Hockey Operations.
This will be a huge boost to a team that's building nicely with a good core of young players, and now, if Staois can help them make the next push, they could be a playoff team for years to come in a stacked Eastern Conference.
