Joel Edmundson, acquired from the Montreal Canadiens via trade in July, has a broken hand. The team announced he will miss significant time.

Three in a Row
This is the third straight training camp where Edmundson had to miss time due to injury. The last two years, it was due to issues with his back. The 30-year-old is now with his fourth NHL team.
