New reports have confirmed a big trade in the NHL between two Canadian teams.
Pearson To Montreal
A new report has come out from Darren Dreger confirming a big-time trade between two Canadian teams. Tanner Pearson is on his way from Vancouver to Montreal along with a 5th-round pick.
The Vancouver Canucks will receive Casey DeSmith in return.
This trade helps both teams out. The Canadiens offload their extra goaltender and add veteran scoring. From the Vancouver side of things, they shore up their backup goaltender spot behind Thatcher Demko.
It will be interesting to see who gets the better of this deal in the long run.
