Matthew Tkachuk Fires a Shot at Boston Bruins in New Interview
The Boston Bruins had a historic season in 2022-23. They set the all-time wins record and had one of the best regular seasons of all time. Now a division rival has some interesting comments on their upcoming season.
Tkachuk Takes A Shot At The Bruins
Matthew Tkachuk did an interview recently and was asked about who he is most interested in watching this year besides his own team. His comments have stirred some controversy around their true meaning.
Many believe that Tkachuk's comments had sarcasm in them. The comments could be taken as doubt toward the Bruins in being able to repeat their performance from last season.
Tkachuk Creating A New Division Rivalry?
While his comments are ambiguous in meaning the Bruins are likely to take it as a shot at them. The Panthers of course erased a 3-1 deficit in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to eliminate the Bruins.
This could mean that when the Bruins and Panthers meet up extra tension will be had. The games will already be heated with the Bruins and Panthers both fighting to stay in the playoffs for another year.
With Tkachuk's comments, this could be a game that the Bruins circle on their calendars. The Panthers will head to Boston on October 30th where Bruins fans and players will be able to make it known how they feel about Tkachuk and his comments.
