Matt Savoie appeared to go down injured after taking a hit in the last prospect game against the Pittsburgh Penguins this afternoon.

Savoie was the Sabres 9th overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft. Last season with the Winnipeg Ice, he managed to score a whopping 95 points in 62 games. He also added an impressive 29 points in 19 playoff games.
It has not been reported the severity yet of Savoie's injury, and Sabre's fans are hopeful that it isn't a long-term injury.
