The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired a former GM to help out in the front office.

It was just announced that the Pittsburgh Penguins have hired Doug Wilson.

Wilson is best known for being the GM who built the San Jose Sharks and was with them for 25 years. He pulled off some massive moves like the trade that brought in prime Joe Thornton and the first Erik Karlsson trade.

Wilson's expertise will go a long way in Pittsburgh and help them build something truly special.
