Berube Signs In Los Angeles
According to new reports, goaltender Jean-Francois Berube has signed a PTO (Professional Tryout) with the Los Angeles Kings. He will look to battle with the other goaltenders on the roster for a full time contract.
Berube spent last season with the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL. He will now get an opportunity to earn a roster spot in the NHL.
The 32-year-old will compete with David Rittich, Pheonix Copley, and Cam Talbot for a roster spot. In his career, Berube has played a total of 40 NHL games.
