Former NHL All-Star Passes Away

Last night, it was announced that the former NHLer Brad Maxwell passed away at 66 years old from lung cancer.

Maxwell's Career
Maxwell was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in 1977 at the 7th overall rank.

He played 612 games for the North Stars, the Nordiques, the Maple Leafs, the Canucks and the Rangers and he scored 368 points during his 13-year career in hte NHL.
"RIP Brad Maxwell. Maxwell could play the game a number of different ways & play them well. He could QB a powerplay, score w/ a howitzer from the point, win 1 on 1 battles in the defensive zone & beat up your tough guy. Maxwell was 66. Godspeed Mr. Maxwell."
