RUMOR: Rangers Shopping 50-Goal Scorer
The New York Rangers have underperformed the last couple of seasons. After making the playoffs their playoff success seems to fall short. As a result of this, there have been rumors of potential shakeups to their roster.
Big Time Goal Scorer On The Market
According to a source by the name of Eklund, Chris Kreider is potentially being shopped by the New York Rangers. The former 50-goal scorer is coming off of a season where he put up 54 points in 79 games. While Kreider may not be the peak version of himself at 32 years old he is still a good middle six option for contending teams.
Several Teams Checking In On Kreider
Eklund continues to say in their post that several teams are interested. The three teams mentioned specifically are the Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild, and the Colorado Avalanche.
All of these teams could certainly use a good forward like Kreider. For Colorado and Minnesota, he would bring good depth to compliment their star players. In Detroit, he could be a helpful veteran presence that could play up and down their lineup.
