BREAKING: Lightning Extend Core Forward For Eight Years

The Tampa Bay Lightning have extended one of their most core forwards for eight more years.

It was just announced by the Tampa Bay Lightning that they have extended forward Brandon Hagel to an 8-year extension.

Hagel is coming off a career year where he scored 30 goals and 64 points playing in the Lightning's top six.

He is 24 years old and was originally a 6th-round pick of the Buffalo Sabres. He was traded from the Blackhawks to the Lightning back during the 2021-22 season.
