The Reason Why The Coyotes Terminated Galchenyuk's Contract Revealed

It has been revealed why the Coyotes cut ties with Alex Galchenyuk.

Today it was announced that the Coyotes placed Alex Galchenyuk on unconditional waivers with the purpose of terminating his contract.

This news comes only 12 days after the Coyotes signed the 2012 3rd overall pick to a one-year deal.

Insider Greg Wyshynski has revealed why the Coyotes terminated Galchenyuk's contract.

The "off-ice situation" is currently unknown but it was enough for the Coyotes to deem it appropriate to terminate Galchenyuk's contract.
