The NHL made another distasteful post on Twitter. What seems to be a heartwarming post celebrating the success of a German goalie is actually completely wrong.
Here's the post:
"Thomas Greiss helped pave the way for Germany between the pipes.
He led all German-born goalies with 162 wins in 368 GP and was the first to win the Jennings Trophy.
Congratulations on an amazing career!"

At first glance, there's no problem here.
But there's a major issue.
NHL Under Fire
Greiss was actually banned from the national German team because of his anti-Semitic opinions.

"Germany has now clearly positioned itself on Thomas Greiss: When asked, sports director Christian Künast said, 'As long as the current sports management is responsible, Thomas Greiss will not be invited.'
Since the NHL made that post, many people showed their frustration.

As a Twitter user said, it's not too late to delete the post. Someone in the communication team obviously didn't do a thorough job here.
