The Vegas Golden Knights have announced two high-profile coaching hires.
Golden Knights Hire Ducharme and Ward
It was just announced that the Vegas Golden Knights will be hiring Dominique Ducharme and Joel Ward as assistant coaches.
-
Ducharme was formerly the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens and lead them to the Stanley Cup Finals but unfortunately fell to the Tampa Bay Lighting. He was fired in 2022 after an abysmal start which eventually saw the Canadiens finish last.
Ward played 726 career NHL games scoring 304 total points playing with the Wild, Predators, Capitals, and Sharks. He was an assistant coach for the Golden Knights AHL affiliate the Henderson Silver Knights for the past three seasons.
Are these good moves by Vegas?
