The Blackhawks were quick to extend their recent acquisition from yesterday's trade.
Blackhawks Extend Foligno
It was just announced that the Chicago Blackhawks will be extending Nick Foligno, who was acquired yesterday and whose rights would have expired on July 1st.

Foligno will sign for $4 million and will be a mentor for the young players who will be rookies next year for the Blackhawks, such as Connor Bedard and Lukas Reichel.
Foligno has played over 1,000 NHL games and is coming off of a 26 point season.
