Connor McDavid seems to be scoring on and off the ice, as he's just announced some major life news to fans. The franchise talent will be making some major changes to his life in the next year.

Connor McDavid and his girlfriend Lauren Kyle announced on social media earlier today that the couple has gotten engaged. The news comes after a career season for McDavid, which saw him score a league-leading 64 goals, and a career-best 153 points.

The couple announced their engagement via an Instagram post on Kyle's account.

Fans on social media showed their support for McDavid and his fiancee in a rather odd way, by making jokes relating to McDavid not having a Stanley Cup ring.
