It's do or die for the Florida Panthers tonight as game 5 of the Stanley Cup final takes place in Las Vegas. Florida needs its top players on the ice, but the latest update on the situation involving Matthew Tkachuk from head coach Paul Maurice did very little to calm the fears of Florida fans.

No Limits

When asked whether Tkachuk would play tonight, Maurice was his usual self in what he would make public, but let reporters know that he knows what the answer is right now.

"No update on Matthew Tkachuk from Paul Maurice. He knows whether he's playing or not but won't divulge. He says if he plays 'there would be no limit at the start of the game.'" - Michael Russo

It is believed Tkachuk's injury happened in game 3 after a hit by Keegan Kolesar of the Vegas Golden Knights. He was used sparingly in the third period of game 4, but was on the ice as the Panthers attempted to tie the game and force overtime.

Just One Win

If Florida can grab one with the series at 3-1, it would be a huge boost for their momentum. That said, it's tonight, or start all over again next season.
