The Anaheim Ducks have hired their next head coach and he has no prior NHL head coaching experience.
Ducks Name Cronin New Head Coach
Greg Cronin has been in the coaching game for some time and has finally gotten his break at the NHL level.
Cronin's most recent NHL experience comes as an associate coach with the New York Islanders back in 2018.
For the past five years, he has been the head coach of the Colorado Eagles of the AHL.
A dark horse candidate, he appears to have won over Ducks management into giving him a shot at the NHL level. He will be a key factor in the development of
Trevor Zegras,
Mason McTavish, and the 2023 2nd overall pick.
