It is no secret that the Arizona Coyotes' future in Arizona is unclear. After their arena bill in Tempe was rejected, the Coyotes have been scrambling for a new spot to put the Coyotes.
While the organization and Bettman want to keep them in Arizona, they may not be able to. Bettman addressed the possibility of Arizona to Salt Lake City today:
Bill Daly is the deputy commissioner but it is clear that Bettman wants to keep the Coyotes in Arizona.
This may not be for the betterment of the NHL. If the market in Arizona is drying up, they could get more revenue from other cities like Salt Lake City, Houston, or Quebec City.
