BREAKING: Police Footage of Valeri Nichushkin's Hotel Incident Released to the Public

Body Cam Footage Revealed Of Woman Found Intoxicated In Hotel Room Of Avalanche Forward Valeri Nichushkin.

Video footage of an intoxicated woman found in the hotel bedroom of Colorado Avalanche Forward Valeri Nichushkin has been obtained.
The video, released by Seattle Police, reveals the moments after police arrived on the scene at the Four Seasons in Seattle, where , at the time, Nichushkin, who's Avalanche were playing the Seattle Kraken, were staying. Nichushkin was not in the hotel room when Police entered.
Video, obtained from 9News and The Seattle Times, shows a uniformed officer entering the hotel to speak to Avalanche physician Bradley Changstrom, who confirmed he called police to ensure of the woman's safety, confirming reporting by The Athletic following the incident. Changstrom also said to officers that Nichushkin was with the woman, and separated the two afterwards, with Nichushkin leaving the hotel room shortly after. Changstrom said he feared for the woman's safety due to her clear intoxication.
A second officer, speaking to the unnamed woman, who prior reports cited as claiming to be a Ukrainian-born Russian international who had studied in the United States. The woman claims a man had taken her passport, but the identity of the man was not confirmed.
The woman could not recall details of the incident at the time, and Changstrom said he had no knowledge of the hours prior to the initial discovery of the woman.
Nichushkin had been reported to have left the team indefinitely prior to the reveal of the story, having left the hotel with security for then unconfirmed reasons.
According to the Seattle Times, Seattle Police confirmed that Nichushkin was an "involved party" in the incident, but no confirmation over his role in the matter has been confirmed.
Nichushkin had been absent following the incident, the Seattle Kraken defeating Nichushkin's Avalanche in 7 Games in the 1st round of the 2023 NHL Playoffs.
So far, there have been no reports of charges, or any information about the woman involved, or anything further than initial reports of the incident summary from witnesses. Nichushkin has not played for Colorado, who are now out of the playoffs, since the incident, his whereabouts unconfirmed.
