Insiders have reported that Kyle Dubas will be the next GM of an eastern conference team looking to make the playoffs.

Kyle Dubas To Pittsburgh Confirmed

Former Leafs GM Kyle Dubas was not on the open market for long. The Pittsburgh Penguins appear to have scooped him up.

NHL insider David Pagnotta has confirmed he is a Penguin.

Dubas will look to help the Penguins make the playoffs. With a core of Crosby, Malkin, Letang, and Guentzel, Dubas will not have too much to work with but he will certainly do his best.

While the terms of the contract are not official, it is likely that Dubas will not have much intervention from ownership and the team president like he did in Toronto.
