Speculation Mounting Around Kyle Dubas' Next Move After Embarrassing Press Conference
Leafs land imploded today as Kyle Dubas stepped away from the team. It was Brendan Shanahan's press conference that had the real effect, however.
Could Dubas Be Back on the Market?
Kyle Dubas expressed last week that it was Leafs or Nothing for him in the NHL.
This was before Brendan Shanahan made a mockery of him during todays press conference, however.
With his departure from the Leafs being a little less friendly than it was anticipated to be, many believe he could be back on the market, and looking for a new team.
Dubas to Take Over in Pittsburgh?
I wonder if Kyle Dubas looks to get back in quickly after that Shanahan presser, I wonder if Pittsburgh is still interested. 🤔
Pittsburgh has reportedly had interest in bringing in the 37-year-old. With what he was able to do with the Maple Leafs, he could be the guy to go on one last ride with Crosby, Malkin, and Letang.
The only question is, will he be able to leave Toronto behind?
