Bruins Top Defenseman Played Through Gruesome Injury During the Playoffs

It is a well known fact that NHLers are some of the toughest people on the planet. Hampus Lindholm is no exception.

It was revealed today what Lindholm was playing through in the Bruins round 1 loss to the Florida Panthers.

Lindholm isn't the first star Swedish defenseman to play through a broken foot in the playoffs. Erik Karlsson did the same when he carried the Ottawa Senators to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2017.

As we all saw, Karlsson was not the same after his foot injury and has only bounced back to form this past season.

While Lindholm was playing through injury, he must take his rehabilitation seriously so he does not fall off a cliff as a player.

We saw how long it took Erik Karlsson to bounce back and Lindholm will hopefully be able to do the same with proper rehab.
