BREAKING: Coyotes Owner Reveals Long-Term Plans for the Franchise

Coyotes Owner, Alex Meruelo, has revealed the franchise's long-term plan and it will shock you!

Today, Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo, spoke to the media about the future of the franchise and their plan.

With all of the relocation rumors running rampant, from Houston to Quebec and about 4 or 5 other places, Meruelo decided to put an end to them for now.

With the Coyotes' future still, very up in the air, Meruelo expressed the desire to stay in Arizona. The Coyotes have had homes or planned to have homes in Phoenix, Glendale, and Tempe, and each time it has fallen through.

There are a few options in Arizona for where the Coyotes could call home and three solid options are Tuscon, Mesa, and Scottsdale.

All are larger than Tempe so it could offer more of a fanbase and it could mean the Coyotes do not need to relocate. Now that the desire is expressed, the clock is ticking because the Coyotes' deal with Mullett Arena will end in 2026.
