Adam Fantilli, the freshman forward at the University of Michigan hailing from Nobleton, ON is the 2023 Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner. The award, sponsored by BioSteel is presented annually to the most exceptional player in college hockey.

The Announcement was made live on the NHL Network and posted on the Hobey Baker twitter account earlier today.

Fantilli, has made a remarkable impression in his first season with the Wolverines. His impressive knowleges of the game and dynamic offensive skillset have set him apart from his peers and the ten other nominees of the award.

He has contributed significantly to the University of Michigan's on the ice leading him to this esteemed recognition.

The projected top three pick in the 2023 National Hockey League Entry Draft joins Hockey Hall of Famer Paul Kariya and Jack Eichel as the only freshmen to win the award.

While in Ann Arbour, Fantilli played 36 games contributing 30 goals and 35 assists for 65 points.
