Last week Keith Tkachuk called out the Florida Panthers for being a soft team who were easy to play against. So what happened tonight might make Papa Tkachuk a little frustrated.
In the 2nd period of tonight's game between the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers, Tkachuk caught Alex DeBrincat with a huge hit that sent the much smaller DeBrincat to the ice. The hit wasn't penalized on the play and DeBrincat would eventually return to the game.
Late in the 3rd with the game already way out of reach the 5'7 DeBrincat challenged Tkachuk to drop the gloves. However the 6'2 Tkachuk refuses to answer the bell.
The referees opted to eject both players to try and cool the temperature but it's definitely not a good look for Tkachuk to turn down this fight.
