Dwayne The Rock Johnson could be interested in buying the Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators are currently up for sale and there has been significant interest from high-profile individuals, including celebrity Ryan Reynolds. However, it appears that another A-list actor, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, is now showing interest in purchasing the team.

According to reports from TSN's Brent Wallace and Yahoo Sports, Johnson is interested in joining the Neko Sparks Group, which is currently offering over $950 million to acquire the Senators.

During an appearance on the radio show Coming in Hot, Wallace reported that having one of the biggest, most well-known people on the planet as part of the face of the franchise would be a significant development for the team.

If the Neko Sparks Group were to acquire the Senators, there is a possibility that Reynolds could also join the ownership group, given his friendship with Johnson.

While the situation is still unfolding, having both The Rock and Reynolds as part of the new ownership group for the Senators would undoubtedly be a sight to see.
