Marc-Andre Fleury Takes No Nonsense, Goads Svechnikov into a Penalty

Marc-Andre Fleury is a crafty veteran and a no non-sense kind of guy - well, on the ice at least. His reputation as a prankster is legendary.

In Saturday's tilt between San Jose and Minnesota, Sharks F Evgeny Svechnikov learned the hard way that if you want to get into it with Fleury, you'd better use your head.

The two were jostling in front of Fleury's net, and being the savvy vet that he is, the Wild netminder goaded the 26-year old into taking a slashing penalty. With the game tied at one-goal apiece, it proved to be a difference making play too.

As fate would have it, the Wild scored on the ensuing powerplay, taking a 2-1 lead courtesy of Frederick Gaudreau.
