The Nashville Predators announced on Monday that they've agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension worth $775,000 with forward
Mark Jankowski.
Jankowski, 28, is currently in his first season with the Predators organization after signing a one-year deal with them in the opening days of free agency last July.
So far, the Predators are liking what they see out of the Hamilton (Ontario) native in a third line role where he's averaging 12:15 TOI per game. Jankowski has also been pretty successful in the face-off dot too, winning 56% of his draws this season.
The former Flames first-rounder has appeared 32 games for the Predators this season, recording eight points (five goals, three assists), ten penalty minutes and is a plus-two.
