Sharks head coach David Quinn ejected after heated exchange with official (video)

Just under six minutes into the final frame during Saturday's contest between San Jose and Washington, Sharks head coach David Quinn was not happy with a 'clipping' call on Kevin Labanc and let the officials know about it.

Quinn was heated when the official came over to the bench, before being ejected from the game. Before he left the bench, he proceeded to call the official a 'fucking asshole' and a 'fucking joke'.

It's not often you see an NHL head coach ejected from a game, so file this one in the 'rare' folder. In fact, the last time a head coach was ejected in an NHL game was almost exactly one year ago, as Jon Cooper was kicked out on March 3rd, 2022.
