Bruce, there it is. The former Canucks head coach has found a 'new' gig less than three weeks after being let go by Vancouver.
The 68-year-old will be returning to the NHL Network as an in-studio analyst and will make his season debut on Thursday night. Boudreau previously worked for the NHL Network from August 2020 to December 2021 before being hired by the Vancouver Canucks.
"I am so happy to be back at NHL Network because the people I got to know are incredible, not only nice, but people who know hockey through and through. I've always been part of a team my whole life and this was one of the best that I've ever been on, so it was an easy decision for me when they asked if I wanted to come back," Boudreau said.
The Toronto native was fired by Vancouver back on January 22nd after what seemed like months of speculation surrounding his job with the team. The Canucks replaced Boudreau with former Arizona Coyotes bench boss, Rick Tocchet. Under Tocchet so far, the Canucks have gone 2-2-1.
