Vancouver Canucks GM Patrik Allvin announced on Thursday that forward Ilya Mikheyev underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL.

Mikheyev played 46 games with the torn ACL suffered in preseason, scoring 13 goals and 28 points for the Canucks this season.
Over the summer, Mikheyev signed a four-year, $19 million contract with Vancouver.
