The Columbus Blue Jackets have their sights set on a top-three pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and over the next several weeks, they'll be looking at the possibility of off-loading their pending unrestricted free agents.

One of those pending UFA's that general manager Jarmo Kekalainen has been listening to offers on is three-time 20+ goal scorer, Gustav Nyquist.

"In advance of the trade deadline, they've started talking to teams about Gustav Nyquist. He's a pending unrestricted free agent." Jeff Marek said during the '32 Thoughts' segment on Hockey Night in Canada.

Nyquist, 33, is having a bit of an off-season with the Blue Jackets. In 42 games, he's only put up 18 points (eight goals, ten assists), 16 penalty minutes and is a minus-12.

The Halmstad (Sweden) native could provide some much needed depth scoring and play a third line role for a contending team in the playoffs.

Which team should take a look at trading for Gustav Nyquist? Let us know in the poll below!
