After being placed on unconditional waivers on Thursday by the Minnesota Wild, Joseph Cramarossa has now had his contract terminated and is a free agent in North America, but he's expected to sign in Germany.

Once Cramarossa was placed on unconditional waivers, it was reported by Michael Russo of The Athletic that he would be likely joining Adler Mannheim in Germany's top division, the DEL.

On Friday, Adler Mannheim's Sport Manager Jan-Axel Alavaara commented on the report that the former second-round pick will be joining his team.

The following quote is translated from German.

"It's no secret that we're talking to him," Adler sports manager Jan-Axel Alavaara said. "However, there are still a few details to be clarified before everything is fixed."

Cramarossa, 30, appeared in four games with the Wild this season, recording one goal, four penalty minutes and had an even-rating. The Markham (Ontario) native added nine points in 18 games with the AHL's Iowa Wild.
